I desire to guide clients as they find meaning in their life stories and help them release burdens that have weighed on them for years or weeks. Collaboration means that I am responsible for listening to your story and reflecting it to you from different angles until we uncover the obstacle getting in the way of your desired change. Then, we can work together to pursue the embodiment of that change so that it becomes an integrated part of you.
I have counseling experience working with trauma, addiction, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, depression, and social anxiety. I have many years of experience working with vulnerable children, adults, and young adults experiencing trauma, failure to thrive, PTSD, and other diagnoses. I also have experience working with individuals as a court-appointed special advocate, therapeutic foster parent, and residential counselor.
