Even the thought of stepping into counseling can be uncomfortable, daunting, and create greater ambivalence, often isolating an individual. As a counselor, it is a place of privilege to discover your story and walk with you in a new narrative that brings hope, healing, and the ability to thrive.
I function from an eclectic perspective that interweaves cognitive behavioral (CBT), emotion focused (EFT), and acceptance commitment (ACT) theories. These explore what drives our emotions, cognitions and beliefs, allowing us to reframe our perceptions and create a new narrative and outcomes both personally and relationally.
Living unbound takes work but provides freedom where we can thrive and be who we were created to be.
