I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (LH61220743), a Certified EMDR Therapist, and specialize in trauma and grief work. I utilize Safe and Sound technology as an adjunct intervention to help clients regulate their nervous system and prepare them for other therapies, allowing them to experience more calmness and connection. I help adults and teens (14+ years old) develop the skills to tackle lifes challenges so they can experience greater confidence, purpose and fulfillment. My emphasis is holistic, focusing on cognitive, experiential, somatic and attachment frameworks, with a Christian worldview.
Counseling areas of focus include: trauma, dissociation/DID, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, identity, boundaries, adoption, eating disorders, communication and relationship skills.
A few years ago, I was on my own healing journey. I understand the pain of loss and the importance of hope. I moved to this area when God blessed me with my current husband and our blended family of 5 children. In my free time, I can be found running, reading, connecting with others over a good cup of coffee, and serving in my church.
Life can be tough and unpredictable. With the right support, you can experience greater confidence, satisfaction, and ease. I welcome the opportunity to support you on your journey.
