Coaching vs. Therapy
Coaching focuses on the client’s goals, collaborating to identify roadblocks, provide helpful steps to achieve goals, and build momentum. This is different than some therapy approaches. Therapy can focus on depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and other mental health struggles. Therapy is diagnostic, but coaching is not. Both can assess the past and build on the next steps but can differ in focus on how that takes place.
